AviaDev Moves to Cape Town

Following a very successful occasion in Kigali, the AviaDev summit will now be moving to South Africa. This year’s event will run from the 12th to the 14th of June in the city of Cape Town.

Cape Town in 2015 formed its Air Access Committee comprised of WESGRO, Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA), the Western Cape Government, City of Cape Town, Cape Town Tourism, South African Tourism and selected private sector partners to engage in route development. Cape Town thus with its connection to well over thirty destinations will lend its ease of access to the event.

Sponsors that have since come on board include SABRE, Embraer, Travel Commerce Solutions, Travel Port, NACO and ADB SAFEGATE. 15 stands for supplier sponsor exhibition and 20 for destination exhibition have been availed to different exhibitors for promotion.

Three years now since it started running, the event continues to bring together lots of aviation stakeholders in a bid to grow aviation in Africa. AviaDev brings airports, airlines, tourism authorities, industry suppliers and governments together in a ‘professional surrounding’ thereby affording them a chance to make real connections.

Registration for the conference is now open to all those who would like to attend the AviaDev 2018 and those who would also to exhibit, spaces are available.
